What Teachers of Kennis Means to Me:
This program has been a huge blessing to me and I am sure for the others as well. It is a huge honor to be a part of this program with great people that want to help me pursue my dreams and goals. I feel like I wouldn’t be where I am today without Dr. Turner-White, Mr. Collie, and everyone else from Teachers of Kennis who supported it.
Dallas is a member of Teachers of Kennis, a grant funded scholarship program designed to increase the number of men of color teaching in classrooms across Alabama.
