Classroom Support – Immediate assistance with the technology in the classrooms is available before or during a class.
New accounts are setup for full and part-time Faculty & Staff when hired through our Human Resources department. The HR department will provide you with your employee ID, your Athens State email address and a network and Athens State Online password.
To change your password select Ctrl>Alt>Delete. Select Change a password
Account disabled: Contact the Help Desk for immediate assistance during the hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.
On campus access: Faculty and staff are provided with an Outlook e-mail account. You can access your e-mail account from any computer on campus by logging into the computer with your full Athens State email address and network password.

Athens State Online
Provides an information portal for student grade entry, advisement, payroll and benefits information. To log into Athens State Online use your employee ID number and the same password you use to log into Blackboard. You can find the link at the bottom of our homepage at www.athens.edu. Blackboard Learn is the learning management system used to deliver online course materials. Athens State Wi-Fi
Log into Wi-Fi on campus using your first name space last name (example: John Smith) or first name.last name (example: John.Smith) for the ID and your network password.
If you need access to Banner have your supervisor login and complete a security request at http://asu-banwebprod.athens.edu/bannerlogin.php. If you need your Banner password reset send a email to the or call 256-216-6698.

ATS has portable equipment available for checkout to Athens State University stakeholders. To check out equipment the Help Desk from your Athens Email Account. In the subject line, please put “Equipment Checkout”. In the body specify which equipment you would like to checkout, the date and time that you will need it. The equipment can be delivered to you on campus if you email in your request or you can visit the Help Desk in Waters Hall S202, sign for and pick up the equipment in person.
