Athens State University is committed to preserving and maintaining the health and well-being of all members of its community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We have put in place a number of measures intended to keep everyone as safe as possible, including temperature screening at campus entrances, social-distancing protocols, protective barriers in certain areas, hand sanitizing stations in campus buildings, and increased efforts to thoroughly clean and disinfect common areas across campus.
Please review the FAQs and other information provided within this site, and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All campus visitors will be subject to a non-invasive temperature check and COVID-19 screening questions. Entrances have been restricted to Beaty Street at Founders Hall and Hobbs Street. Touchless thermometers will be used by trained hospital technicians/nurses, and individuals with temperatures greater than 100℉ will not be allowed access to campus. Those who are granted access will be provided a wristband, which must be worn at all times while on campus.
