Financial Aid holds can be viewed on the MyAthens Self-Service Financial Aid Home page. If prompted, enter an Award Year in the top right corner after logging in.

How do I get my loans put in deferment so I do not have to pay while in school?
This can be requested on your MyAthens Self-Service Student Profile page by clicking ‘National Student Clearinghouse Self-Service (external link)’ in the left-hand ‘Additional Links’ menu.

How do I know that the financial aid office has the documentation I submitted?
Documentation statuses can be viewed on the MyAthens Self-Service Financial Aid Home page under the Student Requirements section. If prompted, enter an Award Year in the top right corner after logging in. Please note it may take a minimum of 48 hours for the status of a submitted document to be updated online.
