Hello! My name is Jennifer Villasenor. I am a junior here at Athens State. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Management of Technology and my minor is Marketing. I’m a first-generation Mexican-American and was raised in Decatur, AL. I think Hispanic Heritage month is important because it celebrates the many cultures, achievements, and achievements Hispanics have made. I’m very proud of my Hispanic heritage and I think it’s important for everyone in the Hispanic community to remember where they came from.
