Environment for Learning

Effective October 1 2012, Athens State University became an independent educational institution governed by an appointed Board of Trustees. As part of the transition to an autonomous institution, the University is in the process of conducting a thorough review of all University policies, procedures and guidelines. While the review is being conducted, the University will operate under existing State Board of Education (the former governing body of the University) policies that have been bridged into Athens State University policies effective October 1 2012.

This Policy Library is under development, and will be populated as new independent policies, procedures, and guidelines are developed and approved by the appropriate entity. If you need specific assistance with any policies, please contact the appropriate University office.
