Dr. Kandalec Holm Named Associate Editor for CTER

Athens State University College of Education Assistant Professor Dr. Katherine Kandalec Holm has just been named to a two-year term as Associate Editor for the peer-reviewed research journal Career and Technical Education Research (CTER).

CTER is an international academic journal which covers the relationship between research and practice in career and technical education fields and publishes refereed articles that examine research and research-related topics in vocational/career and technical education, career development, human resource development, career issues in the schools (Grades K-12), postsecondary education, adult and lifelong learning, and workforce education. The CTER Editorial Board is committed to publishing scholarly work that represents a variety of conceptual and methodological bases.

As a member of the journal’s editorial board, Dr. Kandalec Holm will supervise the review of manuscripts, evaluate journal policies and procedures, and provide scholarly review for manuscripts.

Dr. Kandalec Holm is a career and technical education teacher educator with more than 16 years of experience in CTE. She has taught at the high school, community/technical college, and university levels and is a frequent presenter at national and international research conferences where her work focuses on the intersection of research, practice, and perceptions.
