Athens State is pleased to announce that Dr. Kris Erskine (COE) and Dr. Maria Steele (COAS) have been appointed Co-Directors of the Honors Program. Their leadership will build upon the program’s strong foundation to expand its reach, impact, and visibility.
The Honors Program plays an important role in recruiting, retaining, and supporting highly motivated students. It provides honor students with opportunities to engage in rigorous interdisciplinary academics and enriching programs designed to cultivate their curiosity and prepare them for future careers as members of a global community.
