This scholarship is designed to give you a risk-free opportunity to explore your academic goals and experience the Athens State difference before committing to a full semester or program.

Admissions Policy
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 36 credit hours of college-level coursework in order to be considered for admission to Athens State University.
How the Scholarship Works
- Apply and be admitted by December 31st to be considered for the scholarship. No additional scholarship application is required.
- Have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA from previous coursework.
- Eligible students may take up to 6 credit hours free during the Spring semester.
